Hi! I'm Nikki!

I'm the artist behind Periwinkle & Onyx! I'm a happily married mama of 4 (soon to be 5!), homeschool mom, cloth diaper hoarder, snake mom, and proud cat lady. I dream of living in a witchy cottage in the woods brewing potions and talking to woodland creatures. I'm also LGBTQ+, AUDHD, and have POTS & hEDS so expect those themes to feature heavily on my shop.

I've been illustrating since I could hold a pencil! I've dabbled in all sorts of art adventures including doing graphic design for my father's business, various mural paintings, and I was even a runner up for the Heritage Award in the Young Scot Awards in 2009 due to a drawing I made in school. I've finally settled on a passion with Periwinkle & Onyx - a business named after my two favorite colors (can you tell?). Enjoy stationery, seamless files, and other goodies covered in my hand drawn illustrations of all the things I love!

I’m excited to focus on fostering a welcoming and safe space for business owners of all kinds to connect, share ideas, and grow their creativity. My goal is to create designs that elevate small businesses, helping them stand out and thrive in their industries. I'm big on community over competition - I hope to inspire others to dream big and expand their shops with confidence.
